Altu Khan Jute Mills Ltd. (AKJML), a private limited company, one of the quality Spinning Mills is a sister concern of Panna Group took its birth in September, 2011 with brand new machineries of Golden Eagles Mackie, China in the heart of hard district (Golden jute fibres) jute growing area of Faridpur, about 150 km of Southwest of the capital city of Dhaka Bangladesh.

Initially, AKJML started with an annual capacity in excess of 2,000 metric tons all types of carpet yarn/ twine -all for export. Subsequently, to cater the demand of world market, it gradually expanded its capacity and as on today, it has been producing in excess of 19,000 metric tons per annum all for export and earning valuable foreign exchange amounting to US dollars 19.5 million to the national exchequers.

The ranges of quality and counts are CRP, CRX, CRT, CRM, CB, HESSIAN etc of both TOSSA and white of 5.85 LBS- 96.00 LBS, single and plied (upto 48.00LBS). The products are packed in the form of wooden pallets with stretch wrapping by P.E films and or Trusses in jute bags on conical/ parallel paper and wooden cones in sizes of 2.5 kgs – 22.5 kgs with core and coreless.

Apart from Spinning Mills, it has a composite Jute mills producing sacking yarns 20  LBS-96 LBS and sacking jute bags of different qualities woven or semi circular looms (MS 4A) of China origin.  Its annual capacity is excess of 7500 metric tons- all for export and earning around US dollar 5.8 million.
